The Red Cross concludes a blood drive today with a 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. session in the North Ballroom of the Student Union Memorial Center. Type O blood is strongly needed. Hydrate and eat a meal before donating. Anyone currently on antibiotics may not donate.
America loves Jesus
The United States projects more than 78 percent of Americans are Christian, based on a survey released by the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life that included 35,000 respondents. About five percent said they were members of other faiths, while 16 percent said they didn’t belong to any faith.
Not an award-winning performance
This year’s Academy Awards event drew a record-low 32 million viewers. The previous low had been in 2003, when about 33 million watched.
