Construction for the Sun Link Tucson Modern Streetcar will cause a number of detours throughout campus over the weekend.

James Rogers Way was scheduled to return to a one-way street after Thursday night, and Second Street, parallel to the north, will reopen to all traffic.

Despite the nightly closures of Park Avenue and University Boulevard from Thursday to Sunday, the intersection will remain open over the weekend, both day and night.

On the east side of campus, the intersection of Warren Avenue and Helen Street will remain closed, and the closure of Warren Avenue extends as far south as the Second Street intersection. The section of Second Street between Cherry and Warren avenues is also closed.

The intersection of First Street and Warren Avenue will be temporarily open for Homecoming weekend.
Parking can be found at seven garages on campus. Visitor rates start at $2 for the first two hours, then $1 for every hour after, with an $8 maximum per entry. The Second Street Parking Garage starts at $2 per hour with a maximum daily rate of $10.
