    Hispanics in U.S. lecture
    Informative presentation and discussion on Hispanics in the United States led by Celestino Fernandez, University Distinguished Outreach Professor in the department of sociology. It will be held in the César Chávez building in room 205 at noon.

    Improve interview skills
    Learn what to expect in interviews and how to prepare so you can answer questions with ease. This workshop will be taking place in Career Services room 411 in the Student Union Memorial Center at 2 p.m.

    Lesson on stereotypes
    This interactive workshop will confront the common belief that we don’t have stereotypes, examine the stereotypes we have and identify the effect they have on others and ourselves. This workshop will take place in the student union in room 404.

In his new book, “”The Stuff of Thought,”” Steven Pinker shows us that language really can tell us unexpected and fascinating things about ourselves. Join Pinker at the UofA bookstore for a discussion and book signing at 7 p.m.
