    Today is the last day to register for the ninth annual College of Engineering and Eller College of Management luncheon on Oct. 12.     Ring Around the Court

    At 5 p.m. today, community and activist groups against domestic violence will form a human ring around the Superior Court adjacent to Presidio Park, 160 W. Alameda St., on the northwest corner of Congress Street and Church Avenue. Speakers, Silent Witness silhouettes of slain domestic violence victims and a candlelight vigil are among the Ring activities. For more information, call 320-7556, Ext. 101

    Laptops for loan

    You don’t have to stand around glaring at the people who got to the ILC computers first. You can borrow one of 24 PC and Mac laptops at the Main Library information desk for up to four hours. The program is also active in the Science-Engineering and Fine Arts libraries. Science-Engineering has 12 laptops, and Fine Arts has 11.
