Under $25: Pampering doesn’t have to break the bank

Trying to balance school, work and play is enough to make UA students pull their hair out in frustration. To make matters worse, if you want to be pampered, it’s probably going to cost you.

Fortunately, it is possible to treat yourself for under $25.Salud Spa Bar in Main Gate Square is currently offering tickets to their “”Tea Event”” on Sept. 28 for $25. The event includes refreshments, chair massages, facials and prizes.

“”It’s a wellness event where you can leave your troubles at the door, shop and mingle with other women,”” said spa owner Kelly Podorsek.

Along with advice from skin consultants and an aesthetician, the spa will be explaining the relaxation benefits of tea and giving customers goodie bags of take-home products. But if you simply can’t wait until the 28th to be pampered, the spa also offers an all-natural face mask treatment in four varieties best suited to your skin type. If your feet are crying in pain from walking from class to class, treat them to a pedicure at Spring Nails Salon. Spring Nails is not only close by, but cheap – a spa pedicure is only $25.Don’t worry, boys; there are ways for you to unwind for under $25, too. Grab a couple of buddies to watch your favorite sports team at No Anchovies, the gourmet pizza restaurant in Main Gate Square.

“”We have a laid back atmosphere,”” said employee Jason Greenway, adding that No Anchovies is a great place to just hang with a group of your guy friends.

With a full bar and six big screen TVs, it’s the perfect place to unwind after classes. A full 16″” pie, in gourmet varieties like “”Hot Wings”” and the “”Meat Head,”” is just $18.09, leaving you with enough cash left over to indulge in one of the 50 varieties of beer available, only $2.50 every Saturday.
