Sophomore guard J.P. Prince attended practice yesterday and Saturday but didn’t participate because he wasn’t feeling well, according to UA assistant coach Josh Pastner.
After not sitting on the bench during Arizona’s game Wednesday against Samford for what UA head coach Lute Olson called “”personal reasons,”” Pastner said it would be Olson’s decision as to when he returns to the court.
Prince also did not play in the McKale Madness scrimmage Oct. 13 for what Olson called “”a personal thing.””
Last year he missed Feb. 11’s contest against Oregon State after being late to a team taping session.
Prince is averaging 1.0 points and 1.0 assists in 5.7 minutes per game after averaging 2.2 points and 1.8 assists in 12.4 minutes per game last season.
