Arizona State University welcomed Air Force ROTC detachments from across the state to the first annual Battle of Arizona in Tempe. Four universities, including UA, competed in multiple athletic tournaments to win a trophy and bragging rights. Cadets had a chance to showcase their athletic ability in tournaments like ranger push-ups and sit-ups, flag football, relay races, tug of war and Icarus. Other cadets had their choice of games like cornhole, volleyball, spikeball and motivating the team. This event not only promoted physical fitness and teamwork among the 333 participating cadets, but also fostered a sense of pride and belonging within the ROTC community.
