Wildcats Committed to Animal Rescue and Education is a club that takes animal care beyond campus. Led by President Cassidy Kastelitz, Vice President Caroline McDaniel and Event Coordinator Megan Gullett, Wildcats CARE headed to the Therapeutic Ranch for Animals and Kids on Nov. 4 to volunteer. Club members cleaned and primed wooden pens and interacted with ranch animals including rabbits, horses, chickens, donkeys and more. During bi-weekly club meetings, Wildcats CARE makes animal and community-centered crafts while discussing event ideas. The club brings together students from a variety of majors with a passion for animals and has welcomed over 50 active participants this semester.
