UA cheerleaders run Arizona flags around the field before the Wildcats’ first football game of the season against UTSA at Arizona Stadium on Thursday, Sept. 3.

It’s official.

ESPN’s College GameDay is heading to Tucson for Arizona football’s top 25 matchup with UCLA this coming Saturday.

GameDay is a weekly show that travels to different campuses to preview the day’s college football slate.

This is the second time GameDay’s college football program has come to Tucson. The first appearance was in 2009, a day that ended with Arizona losing a heartbreaker to Oregon.

GameDay usually airs at 6 a.m. Tucson time, meaning that fans will need to arrive on campus early Saturday morning (or late Friday night) to find a good spot.

The program, hosted by Rece Davis, airs for three hours on ESPN.

The Arizona-UCLA game is slated for a 5 p.m. start time on ABC.
