Attend a free show, while also supporting some of Tucson’s local talent. Steff & the Articles could be described as “raging jazz-pop” and are sure to put on a good show. Joining them will be Mombasa and local act Phillip Yancey’s side-project Coyote Mustache.

Mike Stud, Hotel Congress, 7 p.m.
Once an All-American baseball player at Duke University, Mike Stud has now turned his attention to hip-hop. This independent artist is making a name for himself in the world of hip-hop with chart-topping singles and thousands of YouTube hits. He is sure to take Hotel Congress by storm. Tickets are $14 in advance, $16 at the door.

Gather: A Vintage Market, Downtown Tucson, 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.
If you’ve got a knack for finding hidden gems, or you’re just looking to do some redecorating, then stop Gather: A Vintage Market in Tucson. This vintage and antique shop has been previously closed for part of the summer, but is reopening their doors this Saturday. Check out gathervintagemarket.com for more information.
Bad Decisions, Bacon, Booze and Meteor Campout, Arizona Hops and Vines, 4 p.m.
The name says it all. This year, the Arizona Hops and Vines will be bringing together all of your favorite things under a star-cast, meteor-shower set sky. The Perseids meteor shower will have up to 60 meteors an hour, but be sure your vision isn’t too blurry by then. Summer Beer Series: Sam Adams Family of Beer, Hotel Congress, $20, 5 p.m.
A staple in American brewing, Boston Brewing Company will be presenting their Sam Adams Family of Beers this Saturday at Hotel Congress. This will include both their seasonal and limited release beers. As always, beer tastings includes food from Cup Café. The Summer Beer Series at Hotel Congress are dwindling down, so be sure to catch the last few while you can.
