At approximately 12:40 a.m. today, at least one individual was shot at between Old Main and Centennial Hall on University Boulevard.
A single bullet casing was recovered on site by the University of Arizona Police Department, according to a police scanner report. The total number of shots has not been confirmed.
The individual, who said he is a student at the Eller College of Business, told UAPD at the scene that he couldn’t hear anything after the first shot.
He added, “”I thought (the shooter) was fucking around.””
The Tucson Police Department arrived on scene at approximately 1:14 a.m., and a detective began taking the victim’s statement.
The individual had a mark on his head, but it was not confirmed to be a bullet wound. No ambulance arrived at the scene.
