Folklife festival to bring the community together by celebrating art and culture all weekend
Located in Downtown Tucson at Jacomé Plaza, in front of the Joel D. Valdez Main Library
4-5 p.m. — Ice Cream Social
Free welcome event on the UA Mall for all students and families sponsored by the UA Foundation
6-8 p.m. — Shabbat Services and Dinner
Sabbath celebration and free dinner with reservation at the UA Hillel Foundation Center
6-11 p.m. — Moonlight Hike
UA Outdoor Recreation hike at Saguaro National Park West with provided transportation and instruction
Cost: $10 to students and $20 to general public
Saturday, Oct. 12
8 a.m. to 6 p.m. — Mount Lemmon Day Hike
UA Campus Recreation hike with provided transportation, instruction and lunch
Cost: $35 for UA students and $45 for general public
4-7:30 p.m. — Family Fun Zone
Inflatables, games, prizes and other family activities on the UA Mall sponsored by UA Parent & Family Programs and UA BookStores

8 p.m. — UA vs. Washington Football Game
