Located at the corner of University Boulevard and Fourth Avenue, Epic Cafè has plenty of delicious treats to go around. From desserts like horchata cake to tasty meals like turkey tomato cheddar quiche, there are a variety of foods to try out at this one-of-a-kind cafe.
Inside the cafe, chalkboards cover the walls with several menu items listed on them. There are also comfortable benches, vibrant paintings and plants showcased around the shop.
The menu offers Italian ice cream and Italian sodas in flavors like peppermint, lavender, watermelon, caramel, cherry, coconut and lime. For their ice cream, the cafe serve sandwiches, sundaes, floats and even milkshakes.

Daily Wildcat: So how long has Epic Cafe been open to customers?
Deanna Clark: Epic Cafe has been around for about 20 years and there are still baristas that have been working here for 15 plus years.
What do you think is the most popular drink among college students?
DC: Definitely the Noddy Toddy. When I’m in need of an energy boost, this is the drink for it. The drink has tons of caffeine.
What are some of your best menu items here at Epic Cafe?
DC: Well we have a little bit of everything. We have lunch items like salads, sandwiches and bakery foods. But we actually also have a ton of Italian soda and Italian Ice flavors.

Are there any events that the cafe puts together for their loyal costumers?
DC: We have an omelette bar on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. It’s a great menu option that we host every week.
Epic Café has been around for decades and within that time, the café has expanded their menu options for their costumers. Any person in need of a new study spot or even just a quick bite to eat can visit Epic Café during open hours from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
