Businesses along University Boulevard and in the campus area reported losing power just before 11:30 a.m. Monday, due to a power line down at Park Avenue and Speedway Boulevard.
Facilities Management and Tucson Electric Power have restored power to about 10 buildings on campus, including the Medical Library, the Marshall Building, Drachman Hall, the University Services Building, and others.
Some greek houses were reporting power outages on Mountain Avenue. About 1,500 TEP customers were affected by the outage, according to a tweet sent out by TEP.
Update: Facilities Management and Tucson Electric Power have restored power to all buildings on campus, according to UAlerts.
