In what was a poor performance all the way around the field for Arizona football on Halloween night, the Wildcats just looked spooked. The only offense that the Wildcats generated was a 27-yard field goal by Casey Skowron. In the meantime, Huskies true freshman quarterback Jake Browning carved up the Arizona defense, throwing for four touchdowns and rushing for one.
The turnover battle was crucial for the UA. Anu Solomon threw two interceptions in the first half, his first of the season. Jerrard Randall could not escape the UW defense and also threw an interception. It was an embarrassing loss all around, and Arizona football head coach Rich Rodriguez must be very displeased.
