An armed robbery of a student occurred on Monday at 1:13 a.m., according to the University of Arizona Police Department.
A student was walking down Fourth Street between Vine and Cherry avenues, when a man pulled up in a white car, according to police reports. The man then pointed a handgun at the student.
The student described the driver as a Hispanic male, about 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-9, 140 to 150 pounds, in his early 20s and wearing blue jeans and a white hooded jacket that had multicolored designs on it.
The suspect demanded that the student hand over personal property and the student complied. The suspect then got back into the car and left the area. The student was not injured and reported that there were two other people in the car with the suspect.
