Current Arizona hurdler Georganne Moline, competing for Team USA, placed fifth in the Olympic final of the women’s 400-meter hurdles, setting a personal best time in the process.
Moline, who has broken her own personal and school record four of the last four races, set the third best time in Pac-10/12 history with a time of 53.92 seconds.
Moline clocked a time of 54.74 in the semifinal round, good enough to place second and qualify her for the final. Her semifinal time was the seventh-best recorded.
Moline will begin her senior season as a Wildcat in the fall.
