The Associated Students of the University of Arizona met this week for their final meeting of the semester. The meeting was brief and was spent discussing the special election for the proposed amended constitution and members of ASUA saying various farewells to each other.
The meeting was called to order at 6:05 p.m. and adjourned at 6:17 p.m.
Executive Vice President Alexandra Devereux began the meeting with a roll call. All executive members and senators were present.
Administrative Vice President Kyle Kline reminded everyone during the meeting about the special election and encouraged members of ASUA to urge students via group chats or social media to vote.
Devereux echoed this, saying she had been messaging in group chats about the vote frequently.
President Noah Vega gave a closing remark, saying he wished he had been in person for the last meeting but was studying for an exam. He gave a thank you to the other members who served alongside him this year and goodbye.
Devereux told graduating members of ASUA to grab their cords and to please attend the event they were hosting at the end of the semester.
A motion was made to adjourn the meeting and it was seconded soon after, closing the chapter on this year’s ASUA ruling body.
