UA baseball was in a slump last month, going 6-15, but the Wildcats improved in April. The team has taken two Pac-12 series in a row and a non-conference win from ASU. With this turnaround, the UA should be victorious against the Trojans.

The Diamondbacks have the worst record in all of MLB (4-14), and continue to butcher their first month of the season. Last weekend, the Dodgers swept Arizona in Phoenix. Frenzied Dodgers fans should forget the Puig scandal and go out to support the young phenom.

Los Angeles Angels vs. Detroit Tigers
The Detroit and Angels series could really go both ways. Both teams are almost even with wins and losses this season and the Tigers have been surprisingly unpredictable. Could it be the result of new management or the loss of so many long-time Tigers players? Whatever the reason, I wouldn’t panic so early on in the season.

The Tigers are on the road this weekend and will have Max Scherzer on the mound Saturday. With a winning pitcher in Scherzer and the best hitter in the league batting, this should be an easy series to win.
