No. 11 Arizona Hockey (6-1) will host the No. 21 ASU Sun Devils (3-3) on Friday and Saturday evening at Tucson Arena. Both games start at 7:30 p.m. MST.
Arizona hockey’s last home game resulted in a 6-1 victory over the Colorado State Rams.
However, the Wildcats are coming off a road series against Grand Canyon University in which Arizona lost both games. The first game was lost 0-5, while the second game was a closer game resulting in a 5-4 final score.
The Sun Devils are 2-2 on the road this season, having lost twice to Minnesota State earlier this month, on Oct. 11 and 12. ASU comes to Tucson, during Homecoming Weekend at UA, having swept Air Force on the road.
Last season, in March of this year, Arizona hockey swept their in-state rival at home prior to winning the Western Collegiate Hockey League Championship.
