The Arizona men’s basketball team has picked up a commitment from 2023 point guard Kylan Boswell. Boswell is a five-star prospect and is ranked 11th in the country in the 2023 recruiting class according to 247sports. He chose Arizona over Illinois, UNLV, Auburn and Arizona State University.

This is Tommy Lloyd’s first five-star recruit since arriving in Tucson a little over a year ago. Boswell is from Chandler, Arizona and is currently in his junior season at Compass Prep. He has played in eight games this season while averaging 13.8 points, four rebounds, two assists and one and a half steals per game.

Boswell is Arizona’s first prospect for their 2023 recruiting class. The Wildcats have one recruit for the 2022 class, four-star center, Dylan Anderson.

Boswell has thought about reclassifying to the 2022 recruiting class but is still unsure about the decision. He is a defensive first point guard that is a proven winner and a very good shooter too.
