Podcast: Analyzing the UA Faculty Poll

Podcast: Analyzing the UA Faculty Poll

After weeks of speculation over how widespread the communication problem is between the upper administration and the UA faculty, the faculty poll results showed at least a partially-clear picture of the faculty’s confidence in President Robert Shelton and Provost Meredith Hay.

Although only 31 percent of eligible voters cast ballots, the poll results showed an overall feeling of little to no confidence by faculty for Shelton and Hay.

Following the announcement of the results, Shelton pledged to take extra effort in ensuring communication with faculty and is currently scheduling open forums college by college.

Listen as the Daily Wildcat’s Bryan Roy and Shain Bergan analyze the results, crunch the poll numbers and discuss what is next in the relationship between the administration and the faculty.
