A view of Old Main on Tuesday, Sept. 6 in Tucson, Ariz. Old Main is the first building ever constructed at the UA, and it was originally the School of Agriculture building.

The university just fulfilled an August public records request filed by the Daily Wildcat for the 2016/17 salaries of all UA full-time employees.

If you don’t want to sift through the entire 11,307 person database yourself, check out the top 10 takeaways from the database at a glance:

1.) Football head coach Rich Rodriguez is the highest-paid UA employee, raking in $2,375,000 per year.

Basketball head coach Sean Miller is just shy of that mark in second, making $2,100,000 per year.

2.) Rich Rod and Miller got a $375,000 raise and a $100,000 raise, respectively.

3.) UA President Ann Weaver Hart just barely makes the top-25 on the list, making $500,000 per year.

It is important to note that in 2018 Hart will be eligible for an additional $190,000 in at-risk salary for meeting certain benchmarks set by the Arizona Board of Regents.

4.) President Hart is the 24th highest-paid employee at the UA.

The remainder of the top-25 consist entirely of personnel in the medical departments and athletics.

5.) Just 14 employees out of the top-100 salaries are not involved with some sort of medicine.

Out of the top-100, 86 are affiliated with medicine, five are in athletics and the remaining nine are some sort of dean, variation of vice president or associated with the office of the president.

6.) UA’s highest-paid woman is Leigh A. Neumayar at $725,000.

Neumayar is head of the surgery department at the University of Arizona College of Medicine — Tucson and the fifth highest-paid person at the university.

7.) Rich Rod makes nearly 150 times more than the UA’s lowest-paid employees

That’s Rich Rod’s soaring $2,375,000 a-year to the modest $16,744 per year salary made by a handful of Arizona Student Unions and UA Bookstore workers.

8.) The median 2016/17 salary for UA employees is $53,325.

9.) 1,917 employees are making over $100,000 per year.

This number makes up just under 17 percent of the 11,307 total full-time employees.

10.) The UA’s median salary of $53,325 is $1,833 above Arizona’s $51,492 median income.
