The Arizona track and field team will be in Flagstaff on Friday to compete in the NAU Tune-up.
The Wildcats are coming off competing in two meets this past weekend— the Don Kirby Invite in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and the Husky Invitational in Seattle.
The Wildcats competed strongly in both events. In New Mexico, the women’s 4×400 team broke the UA school record in the event.
In Seattle, the Wildcats saw strong performances from Collins Kibet in the men’s 800-meter race and from Claire Green in the women’s mile race.
The NAU Tune-up will only be spanning over Friday, Feb. 19 as it is a smaller meet. Athletes include Aaron Castle, Blake Eichler, Bryce Houston, Savaughn Christman, Jasper Gray and Gia Trevisan.
The meet will feature jumping, throwing and running events.
This means that the Wildcats will feature many of their athletes in the meet. Stanford and ASU will also compete in the meet, among other schools.
The Wildcats will look to continue their success as they near the midseason point of this track and field year. Watch the meet live at wingfootfinish.com.
