Xeriscape
This class teaches the seven principles of Xeriscape to promote healthy, attractive residential landscapes appropriate for our desert environment and climate. Included in the discussion are the use of native and desert-adapted plants in the landscape, plant selection, installation and maintenance. This class will be held at Pima County Cooperative Extension, 4210 N. Campbell Ave, at noon.
Mask-making workshop
This workshop is taught by artists from the Many Mouths One Stomach Collective as preparation for the All Souls Procession. Materials are provided. This event is family-friendly and will be in the Student Union Memorial Center Union Gallery from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Breast Party
The Women’s Resource Center will host a series of activities, all relating to loving your body and accepting your perfect imperfections. Break out of the pressure media and society puts on individuals and join in a clothes-swapping event. Bring clothing that no longer fits and trade in those threads for a new used outfit. The Breast Party will be held in the SUMC Union Gallery from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
