A shooting took place near the north side of the University of Arizona’s main campus early Saturday, and the suspect remains at large according to authorities.
At 3:22 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, a UAlert reported a shooting at the intersection of Helen and Warren. According to the alert, the Tucson Police Department and University of Arizona Police Department arrived on the scene.
The suspected shooter was described as “a Hispanic male wearing blue hoodie,” and was reported “to have left the area eastbound,” according to the UAlerts.
The final UAlert, sent at 3:59 a.m. Saturday morning, reported that TPD was investigating the shooting and that the area was closed to vehicle traffic. The suspect remains at large.
