  • “”Sexuality and the Homeland.”” When the state uses sexual regimes to create homeland security, how are struggles for sexual, racial, economic, gender, immigrant and global justice affected and reconfigured?   • “”Put Yourself in Her Shoes.”” In an event to raise awareness about sexual assault, men will walk around the UA Mall wearing women’s shoes. Participants will be given T-shirts, and a banner will be displayed. 11 a.m. UA Mall
  • Job search workshop. Learn the most effective strategies for finding a job or career-related experience. It is important to use a variety of job search methods to increase your potential for success. 1 p.m. SUMC, Room 411
  • Internet security lecture. When information is transmitted over a noisy communication channel, errors may be introduced. Detecting and correcting the errors require adding redundancy to the information sent, which in turn increases the cost of transmitting the information. 4 p.m. Mathematics building, Room 501
