Arizona men’s basketball player Kylan Boswell celebrates his teammate’s 3-point score on Dec. 13, 2022 in McKale Center. The Wildcats won the game against Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi with a score of 99-61.

After a two-game lackluster stretch for the Arizona men’s basketball team last week, they bounced back in a big way tonight against Oregon State University in Corvallis. The Wildcats defeated the Beavers with a score of 86-74.

Arizona now moves to 15-2 on the overall season while being 4-2 in Pac-12 play. The Wildcats had four players score in double digits while three of them had double-doubles in the game.

Azuolas Tubelis led the way with 25 points and 10 rebounds on a terrific 11-15 shooting from the field.

Oumar Ballo had his seventh double-double of the season while scoring 15 points to go along with 14 rebounds. Ballo looked more like his normal self in this game as he was dominant on defense and blocked two shots.

Kerr Kriisa totaled a double-double for the second time this season. He scored 13 points on 4-11 shooting from the field while assisting on 11 of his teammates’ baskets.

Arizona came out strong in this contest as they were winning by 18 points at halftime while making seven 3-pointers. The Wildcats out-rebounded the Beavers 43-31 overall in the game.

After getting back in the win column against Oregon State, the Wildcats will stay in the state of Oregon to take on the University of Oregon in Eugene on Saturday at 4 p.m.
