While former Arizona linebacker Scooby Wright III awaited his fate in the NFL, the Denver Broncos selected safety Will Parks in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft with the 119th overall pick.

Parks became the first Wildcat selected in the NFL Draft since Ka’Deem Carey, Marquis Flowers and Shaquille Richardson were selected in 2014.
“We’ve taken Will Parks, a safety from Arizona, in the 6th rd. He’s a versatile player with really good instincts. Glad he’s a bronco,” general manager John Elway tweeted.
Parks is originally from Philadelphia and spent the last 4-years of his life molding into the playmaking leader that Rich Rodriguez relied on the previous two seasons.
Parks had 76 tackles with two forced fumbles in 2015.
He will now take his talents to the mile high city and will join forces with not only the defending super bowl champions, but with arguably the best secondary in the NFL with Aqib Talib, Chris Harris Jr. and T.J. Ward.
