The Arizona women’s golf team officially started its season on Monday, with the first round of the Dale McNamara Fall Preview in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Oklahoma State leads the Preview with a 278 (-2), Oklahoma is in second place with 282 ( 2), while the UA is tied with Duke for third, both with 283 ( 3).
Juniors Kendall Prince and Andrea Vilarasau share a five-way tie for third place, after both shooting rounds of 69 (-1), behind Oklahoma State’s Julie Yang who leads the individual race with a 67 (-3).
Arizona freshman Jessica Vasilic is in a 10-way tie for 21st place, while junior Shelby Martinek and sophomore Lindsey Weaver are part of a six-way tie for 46th place.
The second round of the Preview continues on Tuesday in Tulsa, 7 a.m. MST.
