Eller College of Management’s McClelland Hall has been reopened and deemed all clear, according to UA Vice President of Communications Chris Sigurdson.
A class was conducting a research project looking into national security and defense, and was utilizing equipment that looked like pipe bombs, according to Sigurdson.
Someone saw the equipment left out in the open and called UAPD.
TPD bomb sqaud cleared the supiscious device and the building is open for regular business, according to a UAlert.

Kevin Krejci, a business and economics junior, was inside the building and said someone pulled the fire alarm.
UAPD and TPD have moved everyone across East Hellen Street. The street has been closed off between North Freemont Avenue and North Mountain Avenue.
The Eller College of Management, McClelland Hall, is being evacuated because of a suspicious device, according to a UAlert sent out at 11:27 a.m.
University of Arizona Police Department and Tucson Police Department bomb squad are on scene.
The building is empty, according to a UAlert. UAPD is advising people to remain clear of the area.
