UA wing Zane Johnson has decided to transfer from the Arizona men’s basketball team, according to multiple reports Wednesday morning.
UA spokesman Richard Paige could not confirm the reports.
Johnson, a Phoenix-native sophomore, averaged 4.6 points and 1.8 rebounds in 19.1 minutes per game last season. He stepped up as a integral part of the Wildcats’ late post-season push and NCAA Tournament run with an improved role as a three-point specialist.
