Stanford should be able to string something together and improve its seeding for the Big Dance. After beating Arizona for the third time last night, the Lopez twins and Co. should take care of the rest of the Pac-10 field. They’re just too big and the team is too well-coached. Besides, why would I pick USC, Washington State or UCLA? I hate those guys.

How many times can I get a pick wrong? This would be my fourth attempt picking a Pac-10 tournament winner and I am confident Stanford is the right call. It’s led by the twin
Lopez towers, and the Cardinal, in my humble opinion are the best team in the Pac-10. They just couldn’t get past the UCLA zebra who apparently thought the basketball was a UCLA player in last weekend’s strange loss.

As much as I hate to pick UCLA, I don’t think I have much of a choice in this situation. It’s almost as if they play every game with eight players on the court – three of them just happened to be wearing striped shirts. The Bruins can do no wrong as long as they are playing in Los Angeles, and if it comes down to crunch time, you can expect the calls to go their way.
