Renowned jazz musician Wynton Marsalis, top, trumpets laid-back, energetic and sometimes whimsical tunes with the Jazz Lincoln Center Orchestra, of which he is the music director, at Centennial Hall Tuesday night. As the resident orchestra of the Lincoln Center for 13 years, the group has included jazz masters such as Duke Ellington, Ted Nash and John Coltrane.
