New Orleans documentary to be shown
The Africana Studies department will show a film titled “”Welcome to New Orleans”” today at 5 p.m. in Room 210 of the Modern Languages buildling. The film will be presented by Julian Kunnie, an African-American studies professor.
Be a volunteer
Literacy Volunteers of Tucson, 1948 E. Allen Road, will hold an orientation session from 5-7 p.m. today. Volunteers teach adults English and basic literacy skills, among other subjects. For more information, call Lisa Kemper at 882-8006.
Caveman missing
A life-size cutout of a Geico caveman was recently stolen from the Student Recreation Center.
Anyone with information should call 621-4709. No questions will be asked if the cutout is returned unharmed.
