LOS ANGELES– The Arizona Wildcats men’s basketball team started off sluggish and the Gonzaga Bulldogs decimated them from three to take a 38-26 into halftime at the Hoophall L.A. At Staple Center in Los Angeles.
The Bulldogs started off five of seven from 3-point range and jumped out to a 14 point lead before the halfway mark of the first half. If it wasn’t from the outside then it was redshirt senior Przemek Karnowski pounding the Wildcats on the inside to the tune of 8 points, all in the paint.
Arizona, missing junior Parker Jackson-Cartwright, turned the ball over nine times leading to eight Gonzaga points and to make matters worse, missed 6-11 free throws.
The Wildcats will have their work cut out for them, down 12 to the Bulldogs.
