The Arizona Wildcats are down by 28 points to the San Diego State Aztecs by a score of 35-7 at halftime. Jedd Fisch’s first game as a head coach in Arizona Stadium hasn’t been going as planned throughout the first two quarters.

The Aztecs have totaled over 330 yards on offense so far and appear to be scoring at ease. The Wildcats have only gained 107 total yards on the offensive end, where Gunner Cruz has struggled to find his receivers. He has completed eight of his 13 attempts for 62 yards and one touchdown pass. BJ Casteel leads the team with three catches for only 11 yards. Stanley Berryhill III has the most total yards on the team up until this point with 65.

The Aztecs leading rusher, Greg Bell, is tearing apart this Wildcats run defense with 102 yards and one touchdown half way through the game.

It will be interesting to see if coach Fisch decides to switch things up and put the second half of the co-quarterback experiment, Will Plummer in the game to bring some new energy to the field.
