    Katrina, Race, Class and Poverty

    Julian Kunnie, director of the Africana Studies Program, will talk about his recent trip to New Orleans and the International Tribunal on hurricanes Katrina and Rita, during which witnesses described the police and governmental misconduct they saw. 7 p.m. Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering building, Room S202.

    Iraq, Iran and the U.S.: Problems and Perspectives

    UA faculty members will give presentations on the current situation in the Middle East and answer questions. Free. 7-9 p.m. Social Sciences building, Room 100.
