Arizona defeated San Diego State 68-45 in a physical matchup in Mortgage Matchup Center, the home of the Phoenix Suns, on December 20. Arizona held SDSU to just 45 points, the least the Cats have allowed all season. Trailing by seven points with 2:15 remaining in the first half, Arizona went on a 8-0 run aided by a technical foul against SDSU Head Coach Brian Dutcher to close out the half on top. Arizona never looked back and secured the 23 point victory. The Wildcats play again December 22 at home against Bethune Cookman.
