First published April 14th, 1968. Shortly after Rusty’s Saloon was moved to the outskirts of Canland, Arizona, Gimme Gato began construction on his 18-hole golf course. The waterpark would come later. This comic strip could explain the origin of Rusty’s famous “grilled cheese” which, outside of Canland, is called a quesadilla.
