First published in the Canland Communicator on April 21st, 1968. As the town of Canland is situated right on the Arizona/Sonora line, one can expect a bit of border humor to enter into the work of cartoonist Hap Hadley. In this comic strip, we are introduced to the character Fanta, a sneaky smuggler and coyote. Note the monument and barbed wire in the background signifying the international border.
