Arizona Basketball returned to McKale Center with the Red and Blue showcase on September 26, the annual scrimmage that marks the beginning of the new basketball year. Like past years, a dunk contest and three point contest featuring players from the women’s team preceded the Red and Blue game. Past Arizona stars such as Dalen Terry, Koa Peat, Brayden Burries and Jaden Bradley showed up to watch and participate in festivities like judging the dunk contest. Ivan Kharchenkov and Motiejus Krivas led the red team to victory over the blue team and the 1997 National Championship team was also honored for the 30th anniversary of their title winning season.
