Police are still looking for the individual who robbed the Bank of America on the 900 block of North Stone Avenue, Friday. The bank, just west of campus, was robbed around 12:24 p.m. The suspect escaped with an undisclosed amount of money and is still at large. No injuries were reported, as the suspect was “”in and out,”” Sgt. Manriquez of the Tucson Police Department said.
After the suspect entered the bank, he gave a note to the teller requesting money, and the teller complied. No weapon was seen or implied, and the suspect was wearing dark clothing, said Sgt. Mark Robinson, police spokesperson.
Police confirmed that there were customers inside of the bank but could not give an accurate total. The suspect was see running north on Stone toward Speedway Blvd.
