A student saw a man masturbating in the UA Main Library, 1510 E. University Blvd. on the afternoon of April 10, reports stated.

When police arrived around 1:45 p.m., the student said she had heard a wet squishy sound. The student said she then saw a man on the other side of the bookshelf with his jeans pulled down past his hips.

The student said the man was masturbating. She said the man then left.

Police found a wet substance on the floor, bookshelf and on two books.

Another student in the library said she had also heard the man masturbating, but said she hadn’t seen anything.

Police took pictures of the area and collected evidence, reports stated.

A student said he saw a man look into his car while it was parked at the Student Recreation Center, 1400 E. Sixth St., on Tuesday afternoon, reports stated.

The student said he was walking to his car around 3:20 p.m. when he saw the man looking into the car windows.

The student said the man then walked away and went to his own car, which was parked behind the student’s car.

The man then sped away, reports stated.

A student’s $700 silver laptop was stolen Tuesday afternoon from the Main Library, 1510 E. University Blvd., reports stated.

The student told police he last saw his laptop around 2:30 p.m. The student said he left it unattended and came back about an hour later to find the laptop gone. The student said he hadn’t noticed any suspicious people in the area.

Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.

Someone wrote graffiti on a “”No Smoking”” sign and a steal beam at T-Hill, 1700 W. Anklam Road, sometime between April 7 and April 10, reports stated. A UA employee told police the graffiti wasn’t there around noon on April 7 and said he first noticed it around 8 a.m. on April 10.

Someone had written letters in blue ink on the sign and the steal beam.

Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.

A teenager was found with a baggie of green leafy substance and a smoking pipe on April 10 after police saw him and another teenager behind the dumpster outside Skyview Apartments, 1050 E. Fifth St., reports stated.

Police noticed the two teenagers around noon. The teenagers said they weren’t UA students and said they were just hanging out.

When police asked the student why they weren’t in school, the students said they didn’t think they had to go.

Police asked the teenagers if they had anything they shouldn’t, and one of the teenagers pulled a pipe out of his pocket.

The student then pulled the baggie of green leafy substance out of his other pocket. The teenager said it was marijuana.

The teenager was cited for possession of drugs and paraphernalia and released to his brother.

The marijuana and the pipe were placed into evidence, reports stated.

Two storage doors at the UA Museum of Art, 1031 N. Olive Road, were vandalized sometime between April 8 and April 9, reports stated.

A UA employee said the doors were fine around 4 p.m. and said he noticed graffiti on the doors around 11 a.m. the next day.

Police found some kind of letters or numbers written in light blue paint on the doors. Police could not make out the message.

A police officer’s motorcycle helmet was stolen during Spring Fling on April 8 from the officer’s motorcycle while it was parked near Rillito Downs, 4502 N. First Ave., reports stated.

The officer had left the helmet unattended for about three minutes around 11:45 p.m. There were a lot of people in the area because everyone was leaving.

Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.

A Chipotle banner and an Outback Steakhouse banner were stolen the night of April 7 during Spring Fling at Rillito Downs, 4502 N. First Ave., reports stated.

A student said the banners were taken sometime between 11 p.m. and midnight.

The banners had been at two different entrance gates.

Police have no suspects or witnesses, reports stated.

Eighteen stuffed animals were stolen during Spring Fling on April 8 from a basketball booth at Rillito Downs, 4502 N. First Ave., reports stated.

A student said three of the stuffed animals had been stolen earlier in the day. The student said the other 15 stuffed animals were stolen sometime between midnight and 11 a.m.
