Three football players were named to College Football Performance Award watch lists for the 2012 season, the Arizona Athletic Department reported this week.
Junior Shaquille Richardson and seniors John Bonano and Kyle Dugandzic were all chosen for the watch lists, Richardson as a cornerback, Bonano as a kicker and Dugandzic as a punter.
In 2011, Richardson recorded 10 starts and finished the season with four interceptions, which led the team. He joined the Arizona football team in August 2010, and immediately made an impact, starting all 13 games of his freshman season.
Bonano, following a junior season in which he was 24-for-24 in extra point attempts and eight-for-12 in field goals, was named the Special Teams Most Valubale Player by the UA coaching staff.
A season ago, Dugandzic led the Pac-12 with a 46.0-yard average on 40 punt attempts. He did not meet the qualifications for NCAA rankings but had the sixth best average in the country.
