Diva La Paz tonight
Diva La Paz, an annual drag show, will be held tonight in the courtyard of La Paz Residence Hall. The show includes performances by the divas, or female illusionists, followed by a Q-and-A session with the audience. The popular show, which is celebrating its 11th year, usually attracts an audience of around 300 people.
Lunch with the Tucson city manager
Today is the last day to sign up for a luncheon with Tucson City Manager Mike Hein. Hein is responsible for the administration of city government through Tucson’s Mayor and Council. Red is the new green
Scientists are finding that the red-pigmented antioxidant lycopene, found in many red fruits and vegetables, may reduce risks of diseases, including cancer, atherosclerosis and macular degeneration, according to reports from Harvard University and the University of North Carolina. With the recent E. coli scare from leafy greens, students should consider turning to reds.
