SCOTUS justiceto give lecture
Justice Stephen G. Breyer of the United States Supreme Court will be the featured speaker at the 29th annual Marks Memorial Lecture. It will be held in the Rogers College of Law Ares Auditorium at 10 a.m.
Improv theatre troupe meeting
An interactive, improvisation troupe will meet weekly to discuss issues of injustice, oppression and revolution through the medium of artistic expression. Students will be trained in Augusto Boal’s Theatre of the Oppressed improvisation technique.
This theatre troupe is open to all students; non-actors are strongly encouraged to attend. The meeting will be held in the Student Union Memorial Center’s Cooper room at 3 p.m.
Introductory class: Taste for Judaism
Temple Emanu-El presents an introductory class on Jewish spirituality, values and community for all who want to deepen their understanding of Jewish culture, history, rituals, community and practice. It is held at Pima Community College Northwest Campus, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
