THE BUZZ: Don’t be fooled by Akron’s somewhat-gaudy win total. The Zips were seeded sixth in the MAC, which was way down this season. In addition, Akron played just one team that made the NCAA field – and lost by 35 to Temple. Akron F Nikola Cvetinovic could have some success in the paint, but the Zips are going to be hard-pressed to keep the Irish’s perimeter players in check.
