Along with Orlando and Austin, Texas., Tucson, Ariz. has been awarded a bowl game by the NCAA.
It was announced on Wednesday Tucson will be the home of the December 29 Arizona Bowl, while Orlando will house the Cure Bowl and the name of the bowl game in Austin has not been released.
According to ESPN, the Arizona Bowl will be a matchup between a Mountain West school and a Conference USA school and will be shown on CBS Sports Network
If a Mountain West or Conference USA school doesn’t t participate in the either side of the game, the Mid-American Conference will be considered for a backup team, sources told ESPN.
An official announcement will be made later this week.
