Five birdies over the course of a tournament could be deemed a success on the rugged Sahalee Country Club Course in Seattle.
Senior Alison Walshe birdied five holes in yesterday’s round, vaulting from fifth to first place individually.
Walshe’s 3-under 69 gives her a score of 3-under 141 through the first two days of play.
Junior Adriana Zwanck is currently in 10th place with a score of 5-over 149.
As a team, the Wildcats are still in fourth place with a score of 25-over 601, shooting 8-over 296 in round two.
Walshe can lock up her first victory of the season when the final round tees off this morning.
